We are pleased to welcome two new practitioners to Melville Family Health Centre. Dr Erfan Nasheri, Psychologist, and Aleks, Physiotherapist, will soon be available to support our patients with their wellbeing, rehabilitation and health goals. Please see their individual profiles below to learn more about their experience and the services they offer.
Erfan works with adolescents, individuals, couples and families experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, grief, relationship difficulties, chronic pain, ADHD, autism, workplace concerns and major life transitions.
His approach is collaborative, compassionate and person-centred, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. Dr Nasheri provides neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and LGBTQIA+ inclusive care.
Aleks is a passionate physiotherapist with more than three years’ experience in musculoskeletal, sports injury and neurological rehabilitation.
He provides warm, individualised and evidence-based care to help patients manage pain, recover from injury and improve their quality of life. His areas of expertise include functional assessment, exercise prescription, hydrotherapy, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and return-to-work or sport programs.
Aleks supports patients with injury management, pain management, Workers Compensation and motor vehicle accident claims, Department of Veterans’ Affairs referrals, and EPC Care Plans, with gap-free consultations available.
